Installed on one end of a jumper assembly, this tool can pick up loads and carry 250 amps at 15kV. The spring-loaded contacts are closed by pulling on the insulated lanyard. The contacts cannot be recocked unless the tool is removed from the conductor. Conductor range of #6 to 795 kcmil ACSR.
**This tool cannot be used as a load-break tool.**
