LARGE ALUMINUM FID KIT
Fids are utilized to perform the appropriate splice procedure based on rope class and type of construction. The fids are used in making required measurements and in burying the rope during the splicing operation. Each diameter of rope has a matching fid size and to ensure that the required measurements are made correctly, the proper sized fid for the rope size must be used in performing a splice. The Aluminum Tubular Fids are used by inserting the end rope section into the fid.
