Brian Maffucci –
I understand that no matter what bag you put your climbing gear in its going to be heavy, but it just seems like this bag makes it feel so much worse. The only way I was able to make all my gear fit neatly was to put my gaffs in the outside pockets and belt and squeeze in the large pocket. It worked but it’s definitely not the easiest.
If I had any input it would be to make larger side pockets for the gaffs and maybe a strap you can put around the upper part of the gaff pad to hold them tight to the bag.
Also, the adjustable straps. I get they have to loosen so you can get the bag up and then tighten up once the pack is on. It would just be nice to be able to lock the straps once you pull them tight. If your walking any distance you have to keep popping the bag up and retightening the straps.
Started with the duffle bag and was praying for this, but after using this I would go back to the duffle in a second.
