Product Description

JOURNEYMAN GEAR 6-Banger

A lot of guys fly with a piece rope around the outside of the bucket that they use to hang everything from mostly because standard bucket hooks will not hold but 1 tool at a time. It is scary to start adding up how much weight you had hanging from these ropes at any time. Options for hanging tools can disappear in a hurry, especially on outside of the bucket. Any tool with a safety latch style hook or carabiner will securely clip over the 6-Banger, and you can trust it to stay there until you reach for it again.

If you are running the larger chain hoists like commonly used in transmission work, this becomes an even bigger hazard because they weigh over 100lbs each and will not even hang from a standard hook. The 6-Banger is the solution. Journeyman Gear tested this tool at over 1,000lbs hanging from a single hole without failure, and each one is milled from solid 3/4" sheet of non-conductive HDPE in Northern Arkansas. The 6-Banger is rated at 300lbs. Each hole is over 2" wide, allowing even the biggest hoists sufficient room to securely snap into place. These are compatible with all standard bucket hooks.

Cut those old ropes out and install a few 6-Bangers, your drop zone and pole buddies under you will be safer.
