The Hastings Super “U” Arm Extensions’ “U” shaped profile gives these arms a load rating of 200 lbs. per wire holder. These arms are furnished with an insulator on each wire holder giving them a 35kV rating.

HASTINGS SUPER “U” EXTENSION ARMS
- The Super āUā Arm is designed with a profile āUā shape for greater strength and durability. The many features and benefits of the Super āUā Arm make it the best and most cost-effective extension arm available for replacing conductors and insulators.
- All arms include insulated conductor holders to insure dielectric integrity. Arms are rated for 34.5KV phase-to-phase work applications.
- Ā Arms with the standard conductor holder will accept conductors up to 1 1/16ā O.D. or up to 800 MCM.
- The Super āUā design is stronger than the traditional style round extension arms. All Super āUā Arms and Super āUā Conductor Supports have a load limit of 200 lbs. per wire holder.
WARNING: Nylon straps should be inspected prior to each use for wear, cuts, and degradation from exposure to ultraviolet rays. Suspect straps should be replaced before use.
