AB CHANCE EXTENSION ARMS

The AB Chance Fiberglass (Epoxiglas®) Extension Arm is designed for use on voltages up to and including 15 kV where reconductoring or insulator replacement is necessary. The Epoxiglas Extension Arm can be used on voltages up to 34.5 kV providing the wire holders are fitted with M4805-7 insulators. The Extension Arm is suspended under the crossarm by brackets to enable to the conductor to be removed from the original crossarm and placed in the wire holder mounted on the Epoxiglas Extension Arm. Designed for use on voltages up to 15kV. They can also be used on voltages up to 34.5kV by fitting the wire holders with an insulator. The maximum vertical load is 150 lbs. per wire holder except for the C400-1310 which has a 300 lbs. rating.

For a convenient transport and storage solution, the 79″ X 43″ X 36″ steel wire basket will hold up to 25 extension arms using the DDIN Extension Arm Supports.
