The giant bat is unmistakable. Even if baseball’s not your thing (what is wrong with you?), the iconic bat factory is a cool blend of history, craftsmanship, and American grit. Hold bats used by Hall of Fame players, watch bats being made, and test your skills in the batting cage with bats built to MLB player specs.

3. The Kentucky Derby Museum & Churchill Downs

Are horses, fancy hats, and mint juleps are more your style? Experience the legacy of the fastest two minutes in sports, even if it’s not Derby season.
