LOGRITE FIBERGLASS HANDLE CANT HOOK, 60″
LogRite has applied what they know about moving logs to a tool series with handles made from fiberglass, reinforced by a steel core. These tools feature 1.5″ diameter handles, the same heat-treated zinc-plated steel hooks and rubber grips as the usual tools, and aluminum collars and heads to offer protection to the handles from damage.
Along with the large swing hook, LogRite’s cant hooks also feature a toe hook at the bottom that provides a second biting edge on the log to verify a safe hold. The 60″ cant hook can accommodate logs from 10″ to 36″ in diameter. Also to be had in 42″ and 48″ lengths. Despite the fact that these tools were designed for and are preferred by utility linemen for rolling and setting poles, they’re NOT rated and will NOT protect against electric shock.
